There’s enough people on stand here tonight odds are pretty good someone’s gonna kill something!! I’m really just hoping for a doe tonight myself. Antlers would be a bonus

Damn it! Just had a solo antlerless walking the script. Came in from the front left up the hill stopped at about 35 straight on. Turned her head looking back and I started to stand up, turns back around and I'm 3/4 the way up. I'm looking through mesh so can't see all the detail, thought she turned her head around again but it was o ly to the side. When I fully stood and drew spun and ran tail waving.

Started writing this and look to my left, downwind and another standing perfectly broadside 25yds. Didn't see the other one, so when I stood and drew the other one took off and she spooked.

Started writing this again and those two came back but they stayed back in some small brush and knew something wasn't good. Trotted of to the SW.

Abandoning ship and moving behind a huge tree. Use the blind as a distraction hopefully.

Still early but damn that adrenalime rush never gets old.

Moved about 15yds north to a natural blind. They want these acorns.

Straight in front of my truck, 25yds. Could really use some water. Trying not to cough, ugh.

I'm in late but I'm in. Temps have dropped. This feels good, a cool 45 degrees. Winds out of NW. 7 mph.

Last hunter to arrive just shot under a doe.

So they're moving. She might make it my way

I’m back out and all set up on a doe mission. This looks like a KILLER spot.

I’m up, sitting along the swamp tonight. Not where I wanted to be but the wind is going to shift later… Good luck everyone EF05533C-61B7-4FFE-8CAF-7E13A0A14EDB.jpeg

Haven't heard from the other guy, think he shut his phone off.

Other one said the doe bolted in my direction. Hopefully that made her hungry.

It does, but the hilland cart road is very steep and washed out/rocky.

Really hope that wasn't my lone opportunity. Still have just under 2 1/2 hours. 7:01pm but canopy may cut that a few short.

Going to hang a couppe trail cams tonorrow just to see if anything with antlers liles these particular acorns. Bringing the lonewolf as well.

Have definitely answered one question. I can get im a few evening hunts after work this week. I have never had that luxury before, won't be able to shower beforehand but that' what the wind is for. Might be jeams amd a blue shirt rather than red flannel

I’ve been setup for abt an hour and a half. I’m on my very first hang and hunt, with an old Lone Wolf Climber that my friend/boss gave me. I just got permission to hunt this piece this Monday. It’s the only block of timber within the area. The surrounding land is cornfields, old pastures, and ponds. Hoping for a doe. I didn’t go in far hoping to slowly inch my way back in here depending on what I’m seeing
