It's actually kinda chilly with this breeze. Going to be 31 in the morning so a good reminder to layer up.

Not since I shot the big guy, well I’ve had a couple small ones on camera the past few days. Only able to hunt for a few hours tomorrow morning so going to stay local. Hoping to get back down sometime soon! Need to get my public land stuff set up for these times when the deer don’t seem to be on the 30 acres we have access to

To be fair, I didn't know I was going to set up a minute and a half from my truck

Going to be so awesome in the morning, 21 minutes from shower to stand/blind.

Yes it will! Even better if you get a deer down that close. I jumped a nice buck 50 yards from my truck one day. Never know

It is a very nice day. Could be about 15 degrees cooler but hey at least the rain stopped.

Well that didn’t take long. Have a small deer feeding about 60 out in thicket.

Must be an orphan. Looks like the same scrawny one I saw Monday at this spot.

All set up. Wild ride in on the E bike. The grade was to steep on the big hill so I had to push it up….kind of defeats the purpose of an e bike. I’m in super deep in a spot I’ve been to one other time. It feels about 85% wrong with this wind, but If the buck does what he’s supposed to do, when he’s supposed to, it’ll work, which is why im confident in it. Plenty of fresh sign and a few fresh’ish scrapes. Good luck pm shift!!

Other hunter just got here, went to get my water but all he had was a mountain dew and beer. Not doing sugar or carbs, so handfull of ice it was. Now my hands are cold

Other guy decided to stay on this side of the creek. He went in to my north amd headed straight west. Could help me if he kicks anything up or they scent him and come this way avoiding him.

Finally getting to join in for the first time this year. On an oak ridge w an active scrape north of me. Lots of corn standing in the area. Pics have been sporadic but the one I after was here at 2 this morning. Maybe the temp drop will get him up and moving[IMG]
