Passed up a nice doe at 30. I’d like to get the weatherman on the Maury show… need that lie detector to tell me 10mph was a LIE. Crazy crazy gusts tonight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
In other news…been out for two hours and didn’t tell anyone. What kind of saddle hunter am I? Anyway, should be about deer30. More to come.
I've shot pheasant with my bow but never a grouse. Hmmm that sounds like a challenge for some tender vittles.
Thank You! Had great evening though we are missing Grandsons birthday...Every one is sick! Mom has strep ,kids allergy issues, got the call our daughter has her first case of Covid and is pretty sick. We are staying away from everyone a few days until things calm down Checking weather and headed out to hunt in morning. Checked cam more buck showing up doe are more day light. Turkey are tearing up the woods and I saw a cock pheasant on our place.a good day other than sick family
116” folks. Not a big one, but given the circumstances there was no way I was letting him walk. Even though I thought he was bigger when I shot him I’m not disappointed at all. In fact I’m thrilled. Josh and I are having super fresh tenderloins for dinner tonight.
Got my release this evening, going straight back. Small as hell, maybe if my index finger was the length of my pinky it might work. Has to be a youth one. Am I missing something about this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002KE8F38?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
Has a set screw at the bottom so you can thread it in or out and I screwed it all the way out, still about and inch or so short. I can't find anything on the package that states youth or womens, weird. The package had been opened before, wondering if someone bought a youth and an adult and sent the youth back in the adult package scamming the seller. I'll drop it off on the way to hunt tomorrow morning, I've only forgotten my release one time and learned my lesson. Hope this doesn't come bck to jinx me
From last year in MT. I now keep an arrow with a judo point in my quiver for just such an emergency...
