Must of not had service for yesterday's hunt. Here is my only visitor. Won't probably get to hunt until Saturday. Good luck all. Sent from my SM-G990U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
So sorry to hear that Joe! I’ll keep you guys in my thoughts and as everyone else said stay strong and we are here for you!
Thanks y'all, I appreciate the support more than you know! I've said it before and I'll say it again, you all are my family and have helped me through some of my darkest hours. We are trying to keep it civil between us, as we deal with financial issues trying to work things out. I'm hoping for a November or December farewell salute. I wish it were sooner because it just leads to confused and mixed emotions on everything. Enough about that though.... Anyone out this morning?! I'll be going out on Friday afternoon, right before the temperature drop, and saturday morning as well.
OND and Mudshark , Happy Anniversary, how the hell did we all end up in a church during hunting season?? 32 yrs today to the LOVE of my life!! Joe it took me 2 times to get the right one, please keep civil, you both share a wonderful Son together.
Sorry to hear that swamp, I hope things stay civil ! I haven’t been out in a while getting work done and stuff around the house, the Ohio lotto hunt starts 10/9 I’ll be out to try and fill my doe tag on the 9th and get eyes on the prop. I have to shoot a doe first before a buck. It runs till the 22nd and I’ll be out a bunch to try and get it done.
Do you really want to know, because I'm honest... When either of us are mad or a possible verb altercation may erupt it is one or the other, mostly both... " Go F yourself" then we walk away from the " incident ". We never go to bed angry so there are kisses and love you. We never leave each other without kisses and love you. We have spent many years in our marriage apart due to his work. So we learned how to live together as a couple but also kept our individualism. No one is perfect,we all change, and have self specific needs. We both understand and respect that. Within all of the above the glue holding it is...loyalty. Now your getting just my side here. To my honesty statement on his side...well.... He may be looking at the father in law who's second wife cheated on him.....the guy was cut down at close range with a double barreled shot gun...that may help to be honest....LOL
Congrats...for us...we were both gun hunters then and gun season starts in Nov. I wanted a following year wedding, he wanted a sooner one and we ended up getting married 3mos after we started dating. We had met a year earlier just once,a half hour conversation and he told his best friend one day he was going to marry me. Friend told me that. Then a year later we met at a wedding that my room mate convinced me to crash.
No hunting today, it is a cookie baking marathon. Temps going up. A little rain coming in then I need to pick hubby up at 1pm at the garage. He's taking the company truck in for something and needs a ride home. Cookies are my anniversary gift to him. He's a cookie monster and I'm keto so rarely bake. Besides I have a cam pull that I'll address some where else with questions....
Was almost there w my wife Couple years back. Marriage is rough and unfortunately sometimes its better to end it civilly for all involved. My God be with you and your family. Life goes on.
October cold front for the mid-west this weekend, at least for my old MO stopping grounds. @LittleChief you headed back to central parts this weekend? I know you're a moon guy, but that 20 degree drop and high pressure has to get you a little jazzed.
Lol, great minds must think alike! Sorry to infringe on your territory ridgerunner. You can have the torch back
Yessir! If I were a betting man, I'd put money on you getting a stud down this weekend. Friday evening should be lights out and I bet they will be laying down the rubs all over the place. Good luck.
Happy annv to you too. I didn't start archery hunting until I had already made plans for the wedding. The date was already set and someone introduced me to archery that July / August of 1996. Wedding was 10/05/1996.
