Those things are the bomb! I have quite the few of them. I even have some that I wear out for normal street closes and some for work. The shorts version is great also.

I wear those early season and summer scouting as well, after a thorough soak with Permethrin.

I missed the target shooting tonight… jerked the shot for some reason. Arrow through the steel siding. Ugh. Lost all confidence and am now afraid to shoot at my house now.

Had every intention of just driving around and scouting from the road this afternoon. This place is only 35min from the house. I drove around, fished, then got antsy and scouted in the terrible humidity. I may have the west Nile virus as I was bitten by 250 mosquitoes. Was worth it. Found a lot of tracks and hung a cam for some intel. This may be an area where I spend a lot of the early bow season.

I love the pursuit and the scheming as much as the hunt.

I also met an older farmer driving a 4 wheeler down the middle of the road. Talked to him for awhile...he was a good .25 blood alcohol. Haha. 20220808_184823.jpg 20220808_182833.jpg 20220808_181716.jpg 20220808_171902(0).jpg

LOL, yup. Shot my camping grill on accident from a pulled shot. Got pretty good penetration on it. Luckily missed all the propane valves and lines. Still works!

Got a small radish/turnip plot in today b4 the rain. It’s in the back corner on a Fence row where theres a pinch point with a fence opening, should be a good lil setup. Been wanted to do it for some time now, the clover in the upper field really took off. All this rain helped big time !

Anyone know anything about these? They just got dropped on my desk, apparently they are decently old and used to be the go to BH.

I scouted about a 40 acre section today. Dozens of beds, but all summertime beds. Not real well used. I finally walked a real unique spot. Thin 40 to 50 yard sliver of land that is flanked by water. Ran into a couple well used buck beds butted up to the swamp edge.

Had a cam out in that general area for a couple weeks. One other hunter walked through that small opening and was scouting. Got pics of a couple decent bucks.

SMacArther. Super thin blades. We're popular until Muzzy/Thundercats came out.

VS, you are track to an epic season.

Tore a shoulder ligament at work today. Not good. Hopefully I'll be able to get out with the crossbow at least.
