Both (Amazon and eBay) can be a crap shoot... On both, take a look a who the seller is, reviews /reputation...

pretty sure Full Draw Archery in Omaha NE had some last time I was there. Good shop, terrible website.
Not sure if they'd do phone sale and ship or not.

also check Scheels, they are a regional but large sporting goods store with a good archery section.

Episode 23 this year of "What else can go wrong for me".

I pulled my chargers out of my pack from the trip and my Ozonics battery charger is broken. The DC plug was broken off inside. I took it apart and I can't believe that the only thing holding that DC plug receptacle in place was the four solder connections. If I had a soldering iron and some solder I could get it working but I don't have one.

The wife is going into town this afternoon so I guess I'll have her pick one up.

Good luck to all you guys, BTW my " you guys " includes the gals, out there. I'm out of the woods until the next season . That starts Oct1. Switching practice to a ground sitting. This is where I have issues. The OMG!!!! The string won't pull back no matter how hard I try issue. Gotta to train the muscles better for that.
    Go have fun!

Couple of new guys showed up last week.

This first one is the first big deer I’ve had on that side of the property all year. Funny thing is, I walked right in on this trail 4 hours later going to my stand opening morning.

South side 8. Just a real nice looking deer.

Not sure why, but this 50 acres has big bucks on it every single year. Just blessed to be able to chase animals like this.

Will be in a tree around 415 or so. Cold front came through yesterday.

Just make sure she gets rosin core and not acid core solder

Some in the classy’s in this link-

Seems when you want a good broadhead these days you have to get them in the off season.

Those are some great looking young bucks. Knowing that first one looks like a 3.5 year old, it would be hard to pass on him. Good genetics and/or food sources have to be in play.

Was just sitting here thinking about burning some sage around my bow and myself, rubbing a lucky coin, turning 3 times and spitting down wind and whatever else silliness I could think of.

Then I realized I either missed it (not likely) or we never had a season LFTS prayer.

If only we had some preachers around here.

I’m set up on my property across the road.

Oh how I wish we’d had this weather this past weekend. It’s 67 degrees with a 7 mph NW wind. That’s 23 degrees cooler than when I climbed up a tree Sunday afternoon.

I checked my cameras in here and I have a ton of doe traffic but only a couple of basket rack 8 points and a couple of spikes for bucks.

Like I keep saying though, it’s just a matter of time.

Best of luck LC! If it weren't for this pesky job thing, I'd be set up already too. Everything is prepped and ready tho. Yeah this weather is awesome.
