    I'm in the process of an encounter with a 5pt. Nothing I would shoot. Fork and long brow time on the left, blade and long brow time on the right. He came in fast walking and breaking branches at 6:40. He's been milling around ever since. He's at 20yds broad side right now, but in some thick stuff I couldn't shoot through, plus hes to small, plus I haven't found/killed my EAB Doe yet either. He will make a nice Buck next year or one for the kids to shoot if he gives them a chance. Nothing else milling around yet.

    Hes in the middle of the pic. Probably very hard to see.

    Went out this morning to check a camera/ replace it with a cell camera. This is the spot i was planning on going to opening day, get to my camera and theres a ladder stand set up right infront of it.... went through the pictures and there is no picture of the guy setting it up, the ladder just appears so that tells me he definetly messed with my camera and knew someone else had a camera set up.... gotta love public land.

    Good luck Joe! Bloody an arrow. Good luck on recovery VT. I am riding the desk until noon, then taking off early for a quick weekend trip with the family. My middle son turned 10 last weekend, my youngest turns 4 tomorrow. We are headed to Dallas to visit friends and take in Texas Rangers game.

    It happens, all the time unfortunately on public land, but its alright, I have my lottery hunt coming up the middle of the season so I am not too worried about this spot!
