Well that's probably my afternoon. Just had an 8, tall spike and a bald deer walk down the hill along the stone wall. They got to about 80yds and hung up. They all milled around for a bit and then headed back the way they came. Tried grunting when they were about 120yds but they didnt pay any attention. Can still see them on the hill at about 200yds. Hour and 15min left. Guess anything can happen.

Back down the hill they come. And they met up with another group of deer. Could get interesting.

Think I have a Doe and Buck down. Pretty sure I saw the Doe fall. The Buck went behind some trees and never came out. Think I can see his but, just dont know if he's down or bedded. So many deer around me i haven't been able to move.

One of the arrows. 8pt is shot. Believe liver. He's in the ravine. Can hear him crashing around when I approached. Dont think he can get out. Going to look for the Doe. Leaving the Buck till morning.

    Congrats!

Good luck recovering the buck tomorrow morning. Give me something to follow while pulling some doubletime.

I thought the same, not due to predators but that he thought the buck was already struggling.

    Congrats on the doe!

If that buck is struggling, I would give it a couple hours and go back in. You did say you saw a coyote this morning. Also might be worth finishing him off if still alive.
