Lol A.J. and I went for a 4 hour walk about. I hit our property for him to let loose and for me to close blind windows. Well A.J. tore up, but most windows remain due to every thing being frozen. I also scraped gypsy egg sacks off .trees and inventoried dead trees. The ash beetle and gypsy moths have killed WAY TOO MANY trees. I have a bunch of cutting to do starting this coming week. The lol was for the while walking past the oak flat bedding we kicked up one good sized buck and smaller one with him . At least one side outside ear and a good G2. He was moving to fast and low through brush to see anything else. The melted beds were good sized on one and smaller on the other. His tracks spladed long and deep drew points. I sat that area a few times in Dec. never saw a deer . It was the only place we ran across new tracks in the snow. Pushed a lot of dead trees over while out there.

Every year I tell her she doesn’t have to wait until the late season to go out. She’s tough, she knows the deer will be moving today.

Hahaha...in kitchen to hear hubby ...get the binoculars get the binoculars! Where where? There at the end of driveway are 5 deer feeding on grasses/weeds at road. I had binos up stairs so not sure what they were. You could just make them out. I had just checked cards I brought in spike and 4 and big doe and doe fawns on 2 cams last night.
I'm now just waiting to see what happened a couple of years ago... a group of huge mature buck to all show up between mid Jan and Feb.

    Good luck on the recovery!

Happy with the shot? Doesn't appear real bubbly, but looks like you gave it a bit before the pic as well

Chiefy Weefy!!! Good luck!!! Me and 2 of my buddies triangulated a cut corn field and could see the clover plots. A mature doe with 2 fawns popped out right in between 2 of us. She ended up spooking and that was that. A fawn milled in the clover never saw mama. No bucks sighted today. Long cold day. Im probably going to sleep in tomorrow and do the afternoon sit.
