I'm inspired by the hunting publics ground hunts.

I'm committed to 2 days in a row of ground and pound all day hunts with my bow next year. I'm gonna walk the public lake property. Try something new and cover some ground. I need some more people to join in on the challenge during the 2022 rut! Maybe we can all pick the same two days and go for it. Maybe a prize for all the deer killers?? Let's see what new adventures this brings to us.

Congratulations! Love those late season bucks. Find the food, find the deer.

The squirrels certainly are active this morning.

Nothing else is moving yet though.

Nope just not feeling it this morning and had things to get done. Did take A.J. for our daily walk up the hill.and back. Well was daily until Oct. Today is the start of that routine again. We checked cams before coming him we...of course there were deer...Lol thoughjustthebutton, doe fawn and the 4 pt. . Managed to get on all three cams running up here. I'm thinking the only deer staying on us right now. 50 sunny and beautiful out..

Dang what is up with these posts not going through....^^^^^^

I decided to go out to the gypsy blind and glad I did...just a beautiful afternoon. Had the spike and doe fawn materialize 3 yrds from blind on the trail they went on up to neighbors sanctuary. I then watched 2 nice doe and a small fawn feed out of another neighbors pines into the beef farmers field . An hour later at dusk they made it to the gully and up on to our place, headed down to the swamps. Tomorrow is the last day I won't be turning off alarm n the morning. No buck but hey I saw deer
