Just got back from grabbing 4 wheeler and trail cam. Almost 7,000 pics since Nov. 19th.

Stupid camera likes to take rapid pics of nothing for some reason. Usually run it on video because of it. Going to suck going through that many pics.

I’m up a tree for the afternoon sit. DeerCast says “Bad” and Hunting Calendar says “14% Hunting Efficiency” but I said screw them and climbed a tree anyway.

Not bad really, thinking it might be allergy related or something. Woke up this morning and couldn't stop blowing my nose, constantly clearing my throat. Chewing on cough drops mainly.

So Dr. Did call back and sent out for two prescriptions. Said something that starts with a D and he needs an antibiotic and a probiotic due to how long he's been , let's say tied to rest room.
I went to pick up prescriptions get gas and wash car. I had a half tank and wasn't looking at pump when filling up. Pretty sure everyone heard my displeasure when I turned to replace nozzle. Half a tank and 37.00 WTF!
What would be to point of people going to work especially if they have child care as s Well. Probably wouldn't have been as ticked off but our 5 tax bills arrived with the credit card bill before I left the house....Oh and the car wash Is up to -18.00...15 a couple of weeks ago.

I don’t really care if I see deer or not. I’m just kinda tired of hearing “we need to do this” and “we need to do that”. “We” being “me” of course.

It’s so peaceful and quiet out here right now. Even the neighbor’s dogs are quiet. Maybe DeerCast is right.

I’m with ya Chief. It’s crazy how quiet it is here and I’m hunting in town this afternoon. Did DeerCast show “bad” for you too?

I am up on a piece of public. First couple of spots I scouted didn’t have fresh sign. I ended up about coming blind to a new spot. Sitting about 10 yards off a food plot at the end of a draw, two ridges come together behind me. It took forever but I finally found a late dropping post oak about 15 yards away with deer poop under. Found a nice and somewhat fresh rubline on the walk in on the back side of the ridge. The wind was wrong to sit there, blowing right into cover at the bottom of the ridge. Hoping deer don’t come that way. Tracks in the plot at 20, leading away from the oak and into cover up on the far side.

    Yes it did.

I have an hour and a half left and so far I haven’t seen a squirrel or even heard a dog bark. It’s strange, but it sure is relaxing.

And as I was typing the last post three morbidly obese ladies rode through the far side of the food plot on horses. Oh well, 1 hour and 45 until dark.

Pretty sure the horse carrying the heaviest lady wasn’t happy, he tried to buck and she almost fell off. The horse was definitely controlling her instead of her controlling the horse.

And now two guys on horses with dogs have come by and decided to stop for a water break. After yelling like idiots at the dogs. I get that this is multi use public land, but don’t these people have jobs? I checked the schedule, there are no events this week requiring booking.

At least they could have been traditional English fox hunters, that would have been forgivable.
