    I found the one.
Could not the other. Trailed it about 500 yards. Great blood the first 300 then pin drops.
    Thanks Allen.
    CanTex. Temp now is 7*
Still have one doe tag left but I think I'm gonna hang it up for the year?

I'd get back out there, never like to end the year on a bad note if there is still time!

Thanks to the 'rona I basically have 2 weekends left to hunt. As long as I have recovered by New Years that is. Switched Christmas to 3rd weekend of January which is closing weekend. So New Years and the following weekend is it. Depends on what work wants to do as well.

Last day and had plans to hunt for most of day. It's beautiful out. That said I'm in the house nursing yesterday's shopping trip. OMG! It hit me in the middle of the night. I came home with sore feet and a catch in my hip but the lower back and leg cramps hit around midnight. Loading and unloading carts, in and out if the car, miles of speed walking on pavement and concrete. Then there was the hours standing in line. I HATE SHOPPING!
It wasn't even for XMas gifts. It was household food and supplies. 5 different stores to find 2 lamp shades. All that said...The hour and half drive each way was actually great and people out shopping were very pleasant . Had several " line" groups laughing and talking. Something I do each year when I see angry faces standing in line at Christmas. Just throw something out there humorous they can relate to. Makes the time go faster and usually gets me a thank you from clerk.
    I will be out tonight.

So far not bad, kind of a cross between allergies and flu. No taste/smell which in and of itself is weird. Body aches are frequent. Elevated temp but aside from yesterday morning no fever.

Sorry to hear that Clint. Hopefully it's this omnicron variant that only last a couple of days.

I cruised through the first 4 or 5 days with very few symptoms. But after I passed out on day 6, things got real. I hope you have a mild case.

If there's one thing I can advise you to do it would be to drink plenty of fluids, I mean alot. The doctor told me that's probably why I passed out. Day 5 I did a 2 mile run and felt great afterwards but it was the next morning that I passed out. He told me I was probably dehydrated and the run pushed me over the top. When I went a couple of days later for the antibody infusion, they told me I was very dehydrated and gave me a couple of liters of fluids before they did the infusion.

    Which variant?
I figure I've been exposed or have had the omnicor. The area I was in had over 900 cases a few days before I went.. it's double or tripling every 3 days so......Just making sure I take my daily D and zinc.

They didn't say which variant, figured I would ask the health dept. when they call. Haven't heard a peep from them yet though
