I was think more along the lines of a Hunter Assassin Cyborg sent from the future whos main mission is to decimate the whitetail species. And drink alot of beer.:beer:

Got in later than I wanted but I am up at my buddy’s farm to do some doe patrol. I have the .270 and the green light to shoot as many does as possible. Tag limit in this part of the state is 4. Doubt that will happen. I will settle for 1 or 2. Got my oldest with me. He is not shooting, just me.

Did you shoot the arrows or are you just playing with your quiver?

Just passed this guy at 20 yards. Big 9 with sticker off left G2. Looks to be about 130 at 3 1/2 years old. I only have doe permission here.

    45 minutes of light left.

Apparently, if you want to make shooting does with a rifle exciting, you go for head shots. First time I have done it, 20 minutes later, still jittery.

Well, cloud 9 to deep despair.
Have 3 tags and made up my mind today it was go time.
    Brown its down.
Got into my stand at about 2:25.
Doe came, whacked her at 12 yards.
Another doe came and shot her at 20 yards.
Small buck came and shot him at 12 yards.
Was gitty seeing 3 nocks glowing.
I knew I hit the second one a bit back.
Walked back to the cabin to get dressed lighter for dragging.
First bloodrail went 100 yards and crossed the river.
Gotta try to call for permission.
Small buck went 150 yards and retrieved.
Other doe which I assumed I hit back, I bumped her outta a bed at 10 feet.
    She staggered off.
To top it off, went to tag the buck and can't find it?
Called the game warden, no answer so left a detailed message.
Hunted today with 2 good buddies. They each shot a big doe.
Would been kinda cool to have us 3 with 5 dead deer in the snow.
Just called for permission, no answer.
    Will se what tomarro brings.
I feel really cluster_effed right now!!
