Good luck! Going to be a great day to work the bugs out and hopefully shoot something! I hoping to get out tomorrow evening.

Unfortunately... you're correct. And darkness is falling.
I'm sure Finny is doing ALL he can to recover - he's a warrior.

That's 0230 here, so good luck! I'll walk 3 minutes around 530 and sit over a water hole thinking of you, wondering if the deer are thinking of us.

I'm almost to the top of this mountain sitting on a meadow at the first flat. Hell if a cow comes out tonight I'm whacking her.

Since we haven't killed anything yet the only recommendations I can make so far is if you're looking for dehydrated meals Peak Refuel elk ragu pasta and beef stroganoff are pretty good.

9.08 miles, never found a bed, never found blood after last blood. Hill terrain, over hard ball, through the woods, over the hill, through the valley.

I’m sorry boys. My feet hurt as does my ego.

Hey man, you gave it a heck of a try. There is nothing more you could've done. I look forward to your next hunt.

Crap. Man I'm sorry. Honestly, don't beat yourself up like I did last year. It happens and we move on.

Sorry to hear Finny! We’ve all been there, we all know all the support is nice but doesn’t make you feel any better, get back out there it’s the only thing that will make it better!

Dang, well you never know you could get another crack at em. You exhausted all options. I give you kudos for doing all you did! Have a couple beers and get back to it!

Damn man is that isn’t giving it all to recover an animal I don’t know what is. Kudos for the effort!! Time to head back to the stand

I tried that one this year... I thought it lacked salt and pepper... Also wasn't a big fan of the sauce. Ymmv
