Damn, you're right, that isn't good news on any day Jim! I hope symptoms stay mild for you, and you start feeling better soon my friend!!
Jeeeze.... I am starting a new tradition. Going to celebrate Thanksgiving the night before so we can hunt. Another good one in day light...
Sorry to hear Jim. Hope you get to feeling better soon! I’m sure you already know since you are in the medical field, but if your symptoms get worse go get the monoclonal antibodies treatment if you can. That made a huge difference for me when I had it in early August.
I work at a medical school but not in patient care. I understand the frustration. It often seems ridiculous. I was never worse than a slight cough for a couple of days after testing positive. Would have thought I was in the ICU with hoops I had to jump through to return to work after quarantine.
When he first called me he said he shot a big 10 that was busted up on one side. Its really weird like a tine started to grow then just folded over. 2 pinholes on the back of the base of the tine. Maybe injured in velvet? Who knows
That was my initial thought, injured in velvet and still had blood supply for it to harden normally. I just wonder how it would be scored, does it become two separate points with the folded over portion an abnormal? That's one thing I love about nontypical racks, they offer up the questions.
Happpppppy Thanksgiving LFTS friends. I hope you had a blessed day. I spent time with family today. Friday I'm fishing for gills or perch. Saturday going to Erie to fish for walleye. Sunday morning will be church and then back on stand in the evening.
Up having coffee. Going to head to the lease with the SIL for a cold morning hunt. Plan on heading back to the bedding thicket. Looking for a small one that I can smoke. Plan is to get one that I can brine and smoke hams and back straps with.
Heading in got everything I need for an all day sit the last 2 times I have been to this spot saw some chasing the wind is up some this morning so we’ll see what happens good luck to everyone hope you get better soon PastorJim Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

Waiting for the rain to pass before heading out. It’s supposed to change over to snow by 7 and drop about 10 degrees with 10 to 20mph winds. I’m going down in the ravine to try to get out of the wind I hope the deer are thinking the same.
