    I'm always hopeful for other hunter that the shot is better then they thought and there going to find the buck. But when it happens to me, I think the worst. Lol

    You got this! If not you may have to wait til next year when your buddy shoots it to see were you hit! Haha

    The buck I killed last year, I thought I completely missed. I was using a new broad head and it made zero noise on impact. Turned out to be a perfect double lung, but I could find any blood or the arrow on my first trip out of the stand due to looking in the wrong spot. Best of luck and hope he’s dead!

    Exact same thing happened to me last year on a low shot. Decent blood, looked like lung matter and some bubbles. He lived. Not saying give up at all. It just pissed me off that it really is a game of inches.

    Go slow and listen for birds or squirrels if you loose blood...

    Lots of times they give away a bedded or dead buck... More than once a Blue Jay has alerted me to a downed critter!
