Im live from nerve block shots. Didnt see anything while on stand this AM but deployed 2 cams on some hot sign and walked right into 3 does in a fresh cut corn field. I was as surprised as they were. 20mph winds were brutal in the skinny tree i was in. Im just happy i saw deer and hot sign right after firearm season. Now to plan my next mission
Found out today why there are so few deer here this year. Last year the farmer killed 120 deer with his farm permit between the farm to my west, this farm and the Vinyard to my east. Guess its time to hunt elsewhere for the rest of the season.
In a new stand for the evening. My uncle put this up awhile back but he doesn't like the walk to get to it. It will be brutal to get something out of here. I crossed over 2 fresh beds and some sign getting in here. It is a nice spot Sent from my Z719DL using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

Feeling the wife out. Im kinda at her mercy. FIL is doing good. Had a defibrillator installed so Thanksgiving is up in the air as far as what day/time. Kinda makes it hard to plan anything but it is what it is! Ill just be happy if i can get back out before work monday
Anyone else getting a Thanksgiving hunt in? Have always done something on Thanksgiving morning. Some years we would go duck hunting or deer hunting. Other years we would go to the local high school and put together a football game. Then in my drinking years, we would party at the bars because everyone was home, then sleep it off all morning. Those were some rough mornings! Lol Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Hoping my energy is good for the morning and I'll be hunting. About 30 in the morning. Bucks only til Sat.
Wish I was out there guys weather winds been perfect. Though A.J. took out my rt knee a couple of days ago. He thinks my knee should bend in the opposite direction.. I'll be out on the property tomorrow thanks to Covid. It has run through our area like a wild fire.
I’ll be out at one of the properties close to my house. We are starting Thanksgiving at noon so that gives me time for a quick sit.
