Yep, although I never have. It's part of a layering system, so it really shouldn't get to dirty or smelly. When I first got it, I experimented with how to wear it. I found out right away that you can't wear it next to your skin, gets much to hot. Then I tried it with one of those quick dry undershirts that I wear everyday. It was borderline to hot but doable. I finally wore it next to a cabelas fleece undershirt and it was just about right.

BNB I got one last year (fleece) and it's awesome. I haven't had to turn it past the lowest setting. Works awesome for the late Decmber Minnesota season

When I finally get to Kentucky I’m gonna have to take my frustrations out on the herd there.

    Poor little things.

I haven't had it overheat yet, but I also don't have any need to run it at max temp either, it gets very warm.
My cold weather clothing setup is a scentlok trek baselayer, fortress bibs, a several year old scentlok jacket, the arris heated vest, a sitka hand muff with two heater packs, and heater packs in my boots. I do have heated socks, but they seem worthless.
Perhaps someone can give me some advice on some quality battery operated socks.

Mines fleece and washable. Line dry only.

Using it as a midlayer. Was very surprised by how warm lowest setting was and how good it felt on my neck.

Might have to not shoot a deer and see what it's like in late season

Since I’m working the pm shift LFTS I figured I better punch in. No sooner up in the saddle and I had four doe come visit. Buck activity has fallen off. My trigger finger is itchy, any thing with a 100” or more might be in trouble tonight.

    good luck!

I am working 12 hours today and possibly tomorrow - not sure when ill be out next but those two hillbillies that are poaching kinda put a damper on things. May go check out public land again.

What did you end up deciding to do about those fellas and the situation? Sorry if you already answered that question but I missed it if you did.

I spoke to the landowner and advised her that the guys may be taking game illegally, and that one of the guys told me they were. She was aware they have shot some deer, but thought they were doing it the right way. I still have yet to call the DNR...not sure what to tell them or what info to give them, but it's on my to-do list.

Hopefully she doesn't allow them to hunt next year but we will see. I will definitely be knocking on doors next year for new spots.

I read your post awhile back but I am a little behind. Pretty raw deal. Blows my mine that people can be so casual about poaching. I hope you find a better situation for next season.

So far the predicted winds have held off.

    Doe and fawn passed through.
