I got one of those last year. They are definitely awesome. I hate to use this phrase but they are definitely a game changer!

No fever or headache so far today but that comes and goes the last few days. More coughing but other than that, not too bad. Thanks for asking! My covid test is at 1100

The snow caught up with me from when I left my house but it just stopped going to give it another hour. No movement so far. 1637677218688.jpeg

Arris. Fleece with collar. 8 heat zones including the collar. 5 heat levels. Separate control for front, back and collar. Size is adjustable by zipping side panels in or out.

I'm not sure what brand picman got but last year my kids got me a ScentLok BE:1 Reactor heated vest and yeah, it really is a "game changer". I can sit in colder weather longer and with less bulky layers on that interfere with my shooting form.

Edit: Just saw that picman posted his.

I suggest going on Amazon and researching them. There are a bunch of options. The one thing I would suggest is buying one without a battery. I know that seems backward but if you purchase one without the battery, it gives you more options in how you want to use it. And the batteries are not that expensive, even for like a 28,000 mAh.

I've got the same vest. I love that thing! I got it last year around the beginning of November and the only complaint I have is (cliche) I wish I would have gotten it when I got back into deer hunting in 2015! The inclusion of the collar heating elements is a great add.

Got down to walk around to warm my toes up. Walked to the drop off wait about 10 minutes I see a coyote walking the bottom. I think I shot over him. My banner season continues.

I just looked that vest up and besides getting a chuckle from the way the description was written (it was obviously written by someone whose first language isn't english), I really like all of the heat zones they have in that one. Also, it's just a little more than half the cost of the ScentLok vest. I noticed that the description said something about the vest shutting off temporarily if it overheats. Have you had that happen?

I also noticed one other thing in that description that really got my attention. They said they don't recommend wearing the heated vest if you have a pacemaker, which I do have. I've never noticed any problems the past two seasons though.

Well folks, I've not been posting as much on the LFTS thread as I have in years past, but I've been hunting hard with the bow through Missouri's gun season. I've taken my gun out a couple of times, but it's mostly been bow hunting.

Archery season closes during gun season here. I can still hunt with my bow, but I have to use my gun tag if I kill one, which obviously hasn't happened yet. I've let a ton of does walk because I didn't want to punch my gun tag on a doe up until now.

Gun season closes today, so this afternoon I will take my Marlin 45-70 across the road and if does show up again like they have been then the first adult doe I see is going to die.

The way this season is going I'll probably see nothing this afternoon.
