    Oh yeah, I forgot you have been not feeling well.
    Tough call but staying warm n dry was probably the best choice overall.
    Iffn you want your tags filled, I could use some warmer weather and could come on down next week?:cool:
    I sure as hell aint killing nuttn up here :lol:

    I guess the lesson here is that when someone lives in a place out in the country like you do, a weapon in hand is always required every time you step outside during hunting season. :bash: :lol: At least you know there is one around to get excited about chasing.

    I've only had 1 BIG buck come within bow range of my cabin in about 12 years but many does n younger bucks.
    If I'm here, my release is strapped on and an arrow nocked.:biggrin:

    Consider the brighter side to the equation. Being down and out the better part of two weeks, maybe the mature bucks have picked your place as a sanctuary of sorts.

    Good luck to all who are out this morning. Take heart in this; Yesterday I had bucks cruising by my cameras at 1330. So that tells me there's still some rutting action going on.

    I wanted to go this morning to try to whack a doe. But........fever off and on the last two days, headaches off and on the last couple days, and dry hacky cough. Covid testing tomorrow.
