Headed out soon, going to bring my 7 year old son along. We’ll see how long he can sit lol. Snacks and tablet too. Will sit in the blind with black powder rifle. Will be putting “when there is a full moon, kill a buck at noon” to the test.
It is just before the full chase phase here, rattling and grunting will be on the menu.

Thanks guys. I got her for our steaks in freezer. I really want to can another deer so I need an adult doe or buck for that...I have a doe tag for camp....BTW Found where all the missing adult deer have been. The tracks were huge and trails like the ones at camp. Beds all over...this is the narrow area I will only hunt in x bow or gun. I can't have them running. So usually shoulder shots to drop them.. That neck shot anchored her in her bed, dang blood everywhere.
Ohhhh either someone took a huge dump in the middle of my hill trail or we have a bear lurking around. It was big around, long and blk. I'd love a shot at that.

I'm done for the day had an awesome morning!
As I was leaving the wma I noticed a family with 3 dogs. The dogs were off the leash, one was black, one was tan/black, and the other was all white. I let them know it was deer firearm season and that they really should be wearing orange/keeping their dogs on a leash. Hopefully they listen. Only reason I said something was because they had their little daughter who was maybe 3 years old. The area they were walking through is a pretty heavily hunted area.
