    Saw a big body at 626. Didn't realize it was a deer at first. Spike strolled thru about 7.

    I carry no more than 5 rounds. We are only allowed 2 deer per day here in SC. But I just checked regs and it has no mention of it.
    I thought I read last year somewhere that I was only allowed to carry 5 rounds on me.

    Taking a new hunter out bowhunting today. Going to set him up in my stand and see what happens. Last time I took him out he seen 2 does. Maybe he will connect with one this afternoon. He is so excited. Great to see new hunters learning the way with archery gear!

    Bear season today with the rifle. No bears, seen a doe 90 yards. Probably the bb from the other day. Heading in for lunch.

    Well small than thought but easier getting out . 76 yrds bead sites. She bedded with others. Gave me only neck shoulder and way too long to watch her. ...low neck / shoulder aim and took out artery in a Low neck shot.
    My redemption to last year misses. I'm actually a good shot the neighbor calls me one shot. She says she knows I got one when she hears the Browning bark once. NOT last year! God it was awful...
    We don't normally eat the livers but she's young and the liver is soaking in milk as I type.
    It was a camp type drag up the hill until I could reach Gator access and hubby picked me up. 300yrds up hill small or not my arms and shoulders are on fire.
    I tried posting this originally hours ago twice...never went through. As I was gutting her a big doe ran in on us Nearly did a somersault when I stood up...lol Dang,I would never have gotten her out..lol
