I'm above it. Runway down this point leading to it plus downed timber. Hoping a big boy is holed up in here. I got in real quiet.
Dammit,,, I should be in my stand NOW! 154 yards from my cabin. 2 REAL GOOD bucks and a few smalls are going back n forth. Mid day again. And now a fawn shows up whilst typing this.
I dont think much will move until this wind dies down. I'm guessing any movement will be close to last light. Might as well try to get a few winks. The neighbor of mine has a get together the night before the orange army goes out. Last year I missed opening day because I stayed over there to late. I don’t know Ash. When I shot that buck this morning the wind was howling and I thought the same thing but my mind was quickly changed. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
How far did he go when you shot him? Sorry if you’ve already said it. Just curious considering the size of the hole on him. Good shot Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

Well...wind is still whipping...according to tracks out back doesn't look good. Up hill or across street. W/N/W winds high SO they will whip around on this hill. Thinking of just hitting garden stand one more time.
He ended up going 75 yards but I could see the blood trail 5 yards out the whole time. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I’m up, sitting in the box blind. Sure is nice with the 15 mph wind. They have the clover pretty much mowed to the ground. Not expecting much, but you never know. Good luck everyone!
I’m up, later than I wanted but that’s life. They took the corn out yesterday. Curious to see how it effects the deer tonight.
