Just like a cold front in reverse. I have seen great movement on days that warm up real fast for one day. It seems to get them going after many cold days. It's the rut, would worry about temps.

I'm gonna roll in early and come in from down low. New entrance for me. Wind in the face the entire way in.

Remember with a fast warm up thermals will be pulling straight up. The ground should be alot colder then air. All scent should go straight up in trees, makes for great entry.

No one else has noticed anything unusual in the woods this year? Even on the shows they noticed across the board a slow start in buck sightings. I haven't seen as many idol shots of different animals.

Have only been out hunting twice during rut, so not much intel. Have only seen 1 1/2 old bucks chasing. Seems to be more of a trickle rut this year from what I'm hearing.

Just got up. I think he is bedding right up on that skyline. I'm within 20 yds of private public boundary. I've mentally prepared for him to walk by on private and will not shoot if he does.

My nephew was hunting about 200 yards from where the photo was taken-on the neighbors property.

Gonna need some help getting that out of the woods. Not going to lift that thing into a Ranger.

I did graciously offer to keep his seat warm while he ate lunch. LOL. As expected not even an LOL back from him.

And by the way, this is a MI deer. Animals that heavy used to be common place. Back in high school my buddy shot one that was 218 dressed. The next year his dad and a brother both shot deer over 230.

The deer I shot, I swear would have fit in the cavity. And they weren't small deer.

Guy fired up his chainsaw 10 min ago about 400 yds away. 3 does just came by at 20 yds out of thicker cover

I'm in a VT stand sitting over brassica and sugar beets. Hoping this guy comes by. 2hrs to go. CRP to my right, hardwoods to my front and left,, corn/soybeans behind me. Creek at my feet. Wind is in my face. Raining lightly. 20211115_165716.jpg 20211118_145054.jpg 20211118_145058.jpg Good luck everyone!

Weather man says rain is supposed to stop at 5pm. That’d give me 50 minutes to hunt without being rained on. Not keen on getting soaked so Imma try to sneak to the stand as soon as it stops in a couple hours

I've been Mia, had to shut it down for 4-5 days. But I'm back in a tree. Tomorrow is the last day of archery season. The orange army starts the following Saturday. 27 th.

    Good luck

I’m all set up and feeling pretty good except for a touch of “medicine head” from the Mucinex DM.

It’s the middle of gun season and I’m here on my property with my bow. This is unusual for me.

Wind is wearing me down today. Last night before gun season so I'm back at it.
