    Had a lone doe walk by at about 30 yards, to far. Then had 2 bucks come down the ridge and just hang out. One was a small velvet 8 pt and the other was much larger 8 pt. He had velvet hanging all over. Probably would have shot if in range. I now know we're I need to be, they all walked in the same general area.

    Up in the stand after bear again. These things are over due. This is the longest stretch of not being hit. Hopefully it is just because of all the atv traffic last weekend and not because they are hanging out in the corn field half a mile away.

    What a long day! Ended up getting down about 30 minutes before dark because I had no idea on how to get out. Came across a large acorn flat that had a lot of deer sign and ran into a spike making scrapes. Ended up seeing 3 bucks, 2 doe, and 1 fawn. Not bad for going in blind. Plan to move 80 yards tomorrow and shoot that buck!

    My number 1 shed his velvet and is still in the area. No idea how to even approach trying to kill him. 3rd time I’ve got pictures of him since end of July. Pretty sure he’s bedding on the south or east of our property.
