    On this day in 2016, the small buck that put me in the 200 club for the first and only time... Little bump in front shoulder is the G5 Montec that failed to punch through the hide.

    Beautifulic Jim.

    Weird day. Snowed most of it. Bout 4"totall. This morning was slow, late morning/ mid-afternoon was smoking hot and the last 2 hours not a deer was seen.
    3 Juncoes died whilst crashing into my back window.:(

    When the scrapes go cold it usually means lock down has arrived. I like to blind call with estrous bleats during lock down, hoping to attract one that just got done with a hot doe and is looking for the next one.
    Scrapes will fire back up after lock down for a bit as they look for the last stragglers.
