No dice … saw a lot deer though. I also got stung by a bee for no apparent reason which really pissed me off.

Nice buck Adam. This made my lunch hour a lot better seeing that blood trail. Congrats.

    Congrats again Adam! Great buck!

Update from me. This place has been a curse since I started hunting it. I already knew I shot that doe right across the back and it wasn't a fatal hit. I wanted to track anyway just make sure I didn't hit a artery. I pick up a little blood right at shot. It was dark red blood, looked like muscle hit right off the bat. I followed for another hour and went over 200 yards. She was running all over up and down hills. Then around 150 yards she circled back and started to come back were I was hunting. Another 50 yards and blood was almost impossible to follow until it completely stopped. So I'm confident she will survive, just sucks to do that. I came home and shot the bow and I'm shooting great. So I will be heading back out in about a hour. Check in once I'm back on the stand. Going to different property this evening.

I finally got around to processing the doe I killed. I knew I had hit the scapula. I’m happy to see that this broad head isn’t as fragile as I feared.

Alright I'm up. Hunting a new piece of land that I have never hunted before. Lucky for me it does have a small swamp in it and I know bucks do us it certain times of the year. I'm in the swamp and up on the ridges around are oaks. Some are just starting to drop.

    Good luck guys!

First deer of the evening. Have doe and fawn on the next ridge over eating acorns. About 80 yards away.
