    So winds kept me up half the night. Part of your house being in the woods surrounded be trees in real rough winds. It also rained pretty good most of the night and just ending. Won't go out this morning. No leafs on trees save the beech and oak. I watched 5+ deer run through the property at 7a.m.u I'll let them settle a bit. Pretty sure last night has them all spooked up. The rain stopped the winds are still a bit up there. Even from the house I'm seeing a few widow makers...

    I missed the rut

    I’ve been on stand for two hours now. It started raining lightly as soon as I got set up.

    I decided to stick it out and it rained for an hour. Outer layers are wet but my wool layers are dry and warm.

    Hope I didn’t sit through that for nothing.

    Just smoked a small buck saw him go down going to stay up a while see if anything bigger may come by my parents are out of deer meat so I was shooting first thing to come by got me tore up like a big one shaking like crazy
