    Sitting down on the scrape.

If any of you remember this past Saturday wjen I said one of the others said there was 2 monsters around. He didn't use momster, he said 180's. Without seeing I can't visualize 180 so said monster.

Seen the trail cam pics before coming down. Holy chit, 170's easily, the big one at least 16 points, angle left a bit to be desired. All nocturnal though.

Come to thw scrape. Changed cam to video just in case

Y'all can take this for what it's worth, and maybe I'm just trying to keep myself going, but I read an article earlier this week that said Nov. 10th would be the best day of the year. I read the entire thing and never could really figure out why the author was saying that. Anyway, it's Nov. 10th, we have an east wind, and I'm out here. I guess we'll see what happens. Good luck Y'all!!!!

Just went outside to organize my gear. Everything I wear/gear is kept outside hanging under an overhang including socks, gruntcall, everything but my phone.
I'm sure I'll sit till the rain pushes my out. Getting to be quite a whimp in my (older years).
Gonna be hard to leave the cabin/woodstove this morning but I feel I MUST. Only so many November's left.
Coyotes were singing right across the river.
Good luck fellas this morning

Other hunter will be leaving about 9:30, will have free reign then. See how sit goes here, then strategize.

Wish I had not seen them trail cam pics now, nocturnal November bucks, can't base stand choice on that

11 minutes to go time, chasing or something behind me. Might wind me across creek. Heavy deer walking, little unnerving in the dark  creek and steep bank between us.

So that was a foggy rainy drove down. Excited to drive e0 yrds past an absolute toad wide racked buck in the valley just before my turn up hill to camp. Guys never mowed trails but still short enough for a fairly quiet walk in.Apple trees behind me are only ones holding this year
Lots of movement on dark.no snorts.
Wow as I typed this just had a 7-9 " spike literally walk under me. For a bad wind side.good sign. Latrr...

That mile walk out yesterday took a lot out of me. I sweated like a woman of the night in church on that walk. Crashed and just woke up. Even though its gonna be 75 degrees this afternoon I'm gonna enjoy being in the woods. Spend my afternoon on a Virginia ridge. Exploring new territory.
