Pretty good morning so far. Lots of grunting chasing in the dark around the stand. Passed on three bucks so far. They are all doing it right today hopefully a shooter comes along, been a fun day.

Climbing down saw a buck believe it was the same one from earlier.

    3 bucks 1 fawn.
Of the 3 bucks none legal. 1 believe seen twice.

    I'm out good luck everyone.

I have heard it both ways. "Take the first good shot presented to you that you are comfortable making, because they may not be another". Or, "wait for the perfect shot". That is what we have to decided in a split second while watching a live animal maneuver through a woods with lots of obstacles. It's all a part of the bow hunting experience that we all enjoy and at the same time I'm sure it frustrates us. It sure does me sometimes. You'll get another shot, just keep at it!

Man I'm just not seeing anything. I'm not really sure what's going on. This property always has tons of deer and my cameras bare that out. But right now, they are avoiding the cameras and me.

You killed all the dumb deer. That's the problem. That is what I tell myself anyway.

Shot fired. Looked good, arrow and first blood look really good.

    Don't expect update anytime soon.

One deer seen, one deer dead. Looked mid 120's 8. Didn't look busted but his back was all kinds of fighter looking.

    Double damn. That sucks @virginiashadow.
It’s easy to second guess, but all of us try to take the first good shot we get presented with.
Really look around a 100 yards out. I’ve had many blood trails not start until 60-100 yards out.
No blood or fat on the arrow is odd, but strange things happen. You could still have a dead deer out there.

Looked to be 3 1/2, choclatey looking rack

It sure happens fast sometimes. Sounds like you made a great shot. I hope you're happy with the outcome.

Got him, went about 65 yds. 9 pt. Decent mass, may go low 130's. Pictures will not upload, will have to wait until get back in town.

    Might even be 4 1/2.

    Ugh, time for the fun.
