All settled in on the clover plot again. Not expecting to see much but if I do it will be close.

The sun is touching the tops of the trees. Great day to be in the woods! Who is gonna draw first blood?!

If you think it is something you would like I would highly recomend knee pads, they make a world of difference and for the back pain try getting a climbing stick strap and hook it into your caribiner to use as a back support, then if that helps i would recommend getting an actual recliner or backband from one of the manufacturers!

good luck out there this morning guys! Saw a basket rack and two does in a bean field on the way in to work. Man its weird not having a buck tag this time of year, but no complaints! Hopefully the wife will be good with me getting out after a doe this weekend!

As good of news as I can give you right now.

The guy called me back this morning. His son is home for a little bit, probably late 20s, and wanted to do some hunting. So, without permission, they drove a Kubota and cleared some trails and started hunting the property. Didn't think anyone was hunting it. He said he would tell his son to stay out of there. Great news, but doesn't undo the damage he did.

How long until bucks will feel comfortable there again? The last 30 minutes of light last night he walked a loop around where the bucks tend to bed - a 1 acre piece.

Have a great day all of you hunters. Time to KILL!

So I’m getting ready this morning in the little barn and I’m hearing chasing, crashing, and grunting all around me. But now they’re gone, not a deer in sight. FML

I'll be here til about 1pm. See if something will use this connector ridge to move. Some of these places I've been hunting arent that great, but they allow me to get away from people and explore. Worth it to me.
