Inauspicious entry. Bumped a decent big deer (likely a buck) and then ended up doing a front flip over the handle bars when I hit a rut I couldn't see under the CRP grass. Stuck the landing, though.

The view is worth it, though. Shoulda brought a decoy. Beds everywhere under these buckthorn, hope some floozie brings home a stud for a one night stand.

Good to hear, but sucks you had to go through it, without it actually being it, if that makes sense.

Probably best for the family though having it be negative.

Not much to report here, ghost town.
Last time I was here was last November when the leaves were down.
This spot is so thick, a deer would have to be sitting in my lap for me to get a shot

Setting on field edge where I saw 3 doe last night. Farmer just walked out to almost where I'm sitting to put up those portable fence to move his cows. We talk for a couple minutes then he left. I'm hoping the deer are used to seeing him out here and they come out at last light. My banner season continues.

I had to move at 1530 cause the Alpaca farm next door decided to fix their fence. After an hour and no end in sight, I picked up and moved. Suburban hunting at its best.

I would call this one a dynamic kinetic dismount.

I got launched into the air superman style and landed on my feet. I used to race BMX when I was a kid and mountain bike a lot. Falling off a bike is a lot like learning to ride one.

GD it- I just watched a Amish guy in a treestsnd shoot what I'm assuming was a deer with his rifle. We're a week out from gun season
