All good I found it. Just busting your balls. Congrats again and really like how you put the red arrow back in quiver, make a great contrast with the white ones. I'm shooting all white vanes also for that reason. But know that's not the case with you.

How long are you staying in Kentucky?

I’m going home in the morning since I have a doe on ice. I’m also dog tired. I’m not used to this.

Since it’s going to be my last sit and due to the fact that the farmer is getting home at 4:00 and will be available to help I will drop another doe this evening if given the opportunity.

I’m not coming back to Kentucky until I have my travel trailer, a hitch gambrel and the cart for my ebike fixed.

It does add a nice touch to the pics.

I got really lucky with that arrow. It had pulled through the doe about 30 yards into her run through the still green leafed soybeans. As luck would have it the arrow was laying on top of the bean leaves. I never would have found it if it had fallen to the ground.

Only shot 1 dove the other day for opening day of dove. Had to make a comeback and shoot up some geese as I wait for deer season to open. 20210906_125656.jpeg

I’m all set up for the pm sit. 83 degrees here but it felt a lot hotter walking in in the sun.

I jumped two deer just as I got to the corner of the woods. No idea what they were. I’m not worried though. There are lots of them here.

Since this will be my last sit this trip I may shoot a doe if I get the chance.

    Let the games resume.

I’m sitting here. I walked in on the fence row to the north. I jumped the deer at the NW corner.

There’s a pond East of me. That’s why this spot is so good.

In case you’re wondering why we call it the T woods, there used to be a section of woods on the west side that made a T but the farmer cleared it. It really reduced this spot’s potential but it’s still great.

    Now I guess it’s the P woods. I dunno.

Lets hear a little more about this e-bike? I've toyed with the idea since I can't drive or use an ATV on my lease. Whatcha got? pros/cons?

I’ll have to wait until I get back to my room to answer. Gotta keep my eyes open. The deer don’t make a sound in these woods.

One doe so far… come busting out of the beans. Unsure why my wind was not going that way.

Turns out this will be my last KY hunt. Buddies wife got COVID.

Looks more like an F than a P to me. Seems appropriate. The one of the does be like, “Hey girl, you wanna walk throught those woods to get some beans?” And then the other doe is like, “wait, is that @LittleChief sitting in that oak on the inside corner? Eff that!” And then they do it anyway because Kentucky deer are stupid and at least one of them dies.

I just remembered that I killed my biggest buck ever from this tree on October 19, 2013.

Nothing at all this evening. Oh well, I’m not going home empty handed.
