    Ok si here is how my day went. Pulled up to parking lot at public. 4:15am. Got my stuff ready to walk over the damn. Start walk. Little buck bedded at beginning of damn. Runs 10 yards and stops. Does this the whole length of damn. Where he runs into a prolly 120 3 year old. Half way that joins him. Prolly the ones that scared me. End of damn they pick up a 3rd. Trot over hill. Sit for 5 hours see nothing. Get down back to car. Talk to old boy who hunts the property. Shot a 160 last year week after i shot my 150. 200 yards difference in stands. Leave . Get just where public swings out to road. Bam. Buck of anyones life. Huge 10 or 12 witb spit brows. Long tines and mass like nothing ive ever seen. Just standing beside the road on private with his doe. This is the biggest and most gorgeous whitetail buck ive ever seen in my life. 1/2 mile from where i was just sitting and 200 yards from public. He just walks over the hill. Then i think, why the heck didnt i take a pic. This buck is so picture perfect he burned into my mind. Then go to inlaws eat lunch and woke up at sunset. So much for my evening hunt. Working on permission in that area. Going to be out in am if i wake up. Good luck boys and ladies midday big boys moving

    Sitting down. November 7th! More big bucks die on November 7th than any other day of the year.

    Last year, I don't think LFTS shot a buck.
