I’m tired, but I’m all set up.

This time I’m in the T woods, and it’s surrounded by corn.

Wooly walk in and a doe blew at me for a good part of the walk.

    We’ll see.

I haven’t seen anything but squirrels.

I’m pretty sure that if I haven’t seen a buck by now I’m not going to.

I’m having trouble keeping my eyes open but I’m going to sit until about 9:30 just to see what happens.

Ahh yes. The sacrificial does are lining up to be deemed worthy of Chief’s Grim Reapers. “Pick me, pick me!” they shouted from the field edge. (My interpretation of Little Chiefs hunts)

I’m out. Nothing after the does.

I left my gear in the tree and I’ll go back there this afternoon.

It was hot and the race was on. Besides, I had it posted in the scorecard 20 minutes after recovery.

    Okay, okay. I forgot.

Yeah, lucky I didn’t have help this time. Since my hitch gambrel didn’t come in I am dependent on the farmer and he was gone this morning.
