You might as well Jim, it looks like I would rather watch them then kill them.

Green hay field and oak ridge in front of me swamp and neighboring oak ridge behind me. Kicked up a big bedded doe beneath the tripod I’m sitting in.

    Good luck everyone.

I’ve been back up in a tree for 30 minutes. I did see two deer in a field grazing on the way here.

Got back in the stand around 1:30. Slow here since then. Even the squirrels don’t seem to be moving much. Must be enjoying the sun we are getting. Hopefully there is some movement soon, this will be my last evening sit before rifle season

Good buck on the other side of the creek bottom. Doe wasn’t interested and put on the after burners. He lumbered off after her.

Back at home. Sat in the morning stand until 11. Didn't see a single deer which isn't normal. Climbed down and still hunted my way back to stand other guy was hunting. Nothing on the way there, and when I get there amd see the stand it's empty. Never heard truck stary and I for sure would have. Trying to figure out if he left, switched stands or shot something and was tracking. Then I seen him 2/3 the way down the tree. He was climbing down to tale a leak in the creek. He seen a decent 8 and antlerless, was sure if doe or bb.

Pulled card on camera. Had some night pics of weeds that were too close and that's where the focus was. Luckily I seen a raccoon on most of them and the ones i didn't were close enough to others I'm confident it was the same. 1 bb and one doe.

I moved to the NW corner of property and climbed a ladder stand in an oak. 10 minutes in I seen legs, waited for it to his a small clearing and was a fawn but could not tell bb or doe. Not a thing after thag, climbed down and moved camera to a better location and cleared all weeds.
