    I am sitting all day but not by choice. I have 2 does and a fawn bedded 25 yards next to me. I will say that i do see good mid day movement from big mature deer on cameras generally this week. It has been odd for me. No shooters around this year and no chasing or grunting.

    I am. Moon guide is calling for midday movement, and I got enough food and extra batteries for me heated stuff. Though laying on the couch next to the pellet stove sound good!

    I’ve gotten a few on camera this past week, all after dark but haven’t seen any chasing or grunting, the does I saw this morning still had a fawn or button with them and on Wednesday I had a doe with her button come by

    I’m trying to talk myself into it. I have seen very minimal rutting activity and a few daylight pictures of only small bucks on camera… It’s really warm compared to the last week so if they do move it will be at last light. If I do,I will move to a different location .

    I’m sitting all day. Seen a buck chasing a doe in the distance about fifteen minutes ago and received a picture of a small buck trailing a doe back in OH a minute ago.
    I expect things to be slow the rest of the day here.

    I’m in all day, I never expected to see much mid day but when I do see a deer is usually a big shooter. Jus drank a 5hr energy. I feel like I just leveled up !!

    Looks like we are still in pre rut here in NE NC. Still lots of bucks checking scrapes at night and bumping does all around. No big bucks on their feet yet in daylight here that I have seen or have on camera

    Just had a 12” spike come in and breed a doe in the thick stuff. Was a good size doe as well. I think they re still over there I just can’t see them. No shot opportunities

    I have ground about 45 minutes from there, though usually hunt it just during gun season. Don't get ax murdered in Villisca!
