    Good morning…. Saw 7 .. possible shooter reacted to grunt but wouldn’t come in

    Could have shot a spike and a doe but passed

    Have to head in soon to sign papers for 30x40 pole barn getting installed next month… I’ll be out tonight

    Another shooter worked out of the bottom. Didn’t get closer than 80 yards. Unreal.

    Giving it another 10 minutes then heading home to regroup. May be in the climber tonight to see if I can relocate that nice 8 or 10pt I saw the other day. Going to set up further down the ridge I don't think he will come back where he made me before.

    1 buck at sunup would not respond to calling. 3 does and then a lone button who walked right by me so I know my ability to blend in is good. You can see me in the back against a tree. Fun when they are that close. E6270D7A-A9B4-448E-AD09-B7F099747B3F.jpeg

    Think I'm gonna call it soon. Was forecasted as a 6mph wind, but it's gusting well over 20. I'm a bit under dressed and getting swung all over in this tree.

    Course now the wind dies down...

    This will probably be the best day of the trip with the most opportunities.
    I’m done deer watching, I know what I’m dealing with now. I may not kill the biggest buck here but if I get a good opportunity an arrow will be launched.

    Back home with coffee, hike back up hill wasn't any more fun than going down it this a.m.. trails were just covered in tracks. Took a pic of my bird nest before I left...

    Saw another small buck in the thick stuff with in 20 yards. Could only see his head. Went the other direction. Did a rattling sequence few minutes ago. See if that stirs anything up
