    Can believe I'm saying this but I'm gonna skip this morning sit.
    I only have one stand set I can use with this wind and it's about 50 yards from the property line.
    Rifle opens today and I just don't want to risk a shot and have it end up there.
    Besides, I'd have to go all the way through mine to get there.
    Don't feel like bumping anything that way.
    Live From the Cabin it is.

    Settled in. Can’t stay hydrated hunting all but two hours a day. Sleepy. Need an IV and an adderall. I have neither but I’m in the only stand that will work with today’s switching winds. It was slow yesterday so gotta see something today ammirite? Good luck all.

    So, the entire coffee cup drained into my pack...

    On a fun note, a GH owl landed about 10 ft from me... Startled the heck out of me... Right there on that branch. 20211106_072629.jpeg

    Been up for a few. Me and one other, I'm back in the bowl again. Other guy said they've had two giants on cam this year. Hoping to make that one today.

    Should get karma points for always taking the lesser stand.

    20 minutes to legal. Couple scent wicks out mainly to help cover my scent.

    Couldn't pull card yet, didn't want to tip my hand just yet.

    Wiped out hard on the E bike in, going a bit too fast and slipped a small log. Landed on my off shoulder. That's going to hurt tomorrow for sure. Better KILL today!

    altho these SSW wind are less than optimal. Not terrible but not optimal for AM. Light enough to shoot gotta go GL all!

    First day of crossbow, I can finally hunt a particular piece of property. 28 and a S/E wind. Listening to the. Streams and talking to the turkey. In the first raised blind I ever built. Dang still don't know how I did it by myself. Great spot though mid hill swamp. Surrounded buy mature reds and beech. Lots of witch hazel. A favorite rub tree. Good luck guys.

    Nothing better than the MN gun season tradition. Drinking beers with my 2 brothers until way too late and telling stories about our dad will never get old.
