    9 years ago today my one and only buck on the wall. Excuse the bad handling of the deer.

    I’ve only shot 2 bucks since then. The one with my late dads rifle he gave me last year and the one with my bow this year.

    Don’t feel bad because me too. The two worst things that I have forgot this year are my camo warmer pants in a 29* morning, and just Tuesday I totally forgot to put socks on and didn’t realize until I was 2 minutes from my property.

    The last 4 hunts I've seen 0 deer. Nov 2 to 4. Bring it.

    With 20 min shooting time left i saw 2 Doe come out of the thicket at 50. They were angling toward me. Then a small Buck came out at 70 and started dogging them. The Does ran a few circles and then headed back up the hill where they came from.

    As I was packing up one unknown deer approached me at about 30. Too dark to see. Waited for it to wander off and got down.

    Noticed that the farmer cut about a quarter of the corn while i was in stand today.. Hope he cuts the rest.. I'll be back in the same stand in the morning. If I see movement ill continue to go there. If not I'll move to a stand closer to the cut corn where they stage up and where the biggest Buck I have on camera was located.

    I've been up since 2am, I'm not going to wake earlier in the morning to check the camera. I'll let it sit and soak until I absolutely have to hunt it. Not going to make a decision on a one day soak during the rut. All depends on how many show up to hunt each day and who's hunting where.
