Just had another 2 year old beating the crap out of some willows down in the bottoms. I grabbed my bow but chose not to shoot. I know theres bigger here. He was at 35 for awhile. I drew back even though i knew i wasnt gonna shoot. He eventually winded me D9950F01-B5C2-4B80-9A14-2822BBFBFA71.jpeg

Good chance you might have a buck tending a doe in there. With a scrub buck or two hanging around and pissing him off

Well I'm at the farm in Jersey! Suiting up and heading in slowly. Never know what might run by while walking in this time of year.

We're back at camp. We never did find any more blood. Like I said, the trail was very light for the first 20 yards and then it disappeared. Steve managed to find one more little drop of blood right at the edge of the gravel road. That's where it just disappeared. It just dried up and vanished.

We walked all over the place just hoping to located a bed or a trail, but we found nothing.

Steady rain here all day today. Not going to make it for stand therapy. Hopefully out first thing in the morning!

I'm tied in and ready to kill. Bumped one Doe Fawn. She just took a couple steps and looked back. She eventually walked off nice and slow. No Buck with her. Wind is good out of the NNW. 50 degrees. At my go to stand by the brook. The Does go through here on the way to the corn which is still standing. Hopefully a Buck will be in tow.

Pulled two cams on the way in and reset a cell cam on one. Check pics in a few.

    Good luck everyone!

November 4th,,,lockdown? I said it earlier as a joke. I'm not trying to be a d!ck, I don't know the property you hunt though, you know what you've seen so far, I know you know it well, and have an amazing success record there. It just seems at least a week early to be thinking lockdown. But like I said, you know the place better than I do, and you know what you've seen so far this week.

Lots of daylight Buck pics. Mostly 2.5yr olds. Looks like 100" will be sufficient for me here.

I called it at 1, no sense in dissuading myself, it's still esrly although I'm almost a week into it. If I do two weeks again it will be later and not start in October.

I'll be back in the morning, going to get up at 3 so I can check card on cam. Might be a antlerless kind of day as well, will likely be my last day solo until next week.
