South. If all goes well, I should be down there this weekend through next week. I was hoping to start tomorrow, but work is really being a pain in my ass!

Winds were forecast to be light and variable turning NW 3-5mph. I face east while in this stand. Doe and Buck came out at 1:15PM to the NW, calm wind, I left at 2:35 because of winds swirling so bad. Look at the winds after they appeared. Mother Nature hates me.

Tomorrows forecast, I should have place to myself again.

Well A.J now looses his mind the second he sees camo. He hates me going hunting and is relentless In his harassing me while I get ready. So phone left on counter. I went to a stand I haven't used in a few years just 80 yrds behind the house. Well it's a stand I won't use again. It was built in the crutch of a massive maple and a trunk split. I was a great stand for years but now the main trunk has grown toward the light in field...you now have a very small drawing ability and impossible to sit in.
I got to base of tree and a fawn bedded along neighbor wood line across the field from me is staring at me. Oh well very slowly hook up bow and sloth climb ladder to platform. Fawn never spooked. Get settled pull up bow and 3 button buck walk right under me going to field. Then a doe fawn comes in. They feed with in shooting distance a long time. I could have shot them on us easily. As season was closing getting dark I'm packing up and look into field to see big boy had entered from our place farther down the field. I know what trail So will set a climber out there. Good to see him still on his feet. Got out of tree undetected but took two steps and was snorted. So I took off making a racket. Stopped listened, galloped stopped and listened. Grabbed a sapling and shook the ****e out of it, then ran the rest of the way to deck. W h at a fun night

Can you do us all a favor if we all pitch in for it?

Can you set up live web cams across your property so we can just tune in every so often?

    Could host it at ONDTV.com

I swear you have all of the luck I do, but have an unlimited amount of resources to make it more common. Mine is usually split up into seasons or episodes. All in fun, hope you're not offended

I would guess that buck is 3 1/2 and you ate right on w score being hi 120 low 130. It's early, I think you made the right call. Makes for an exciting hunt though!

pellet stove fixed, class is over, the jeep is packed, batteries for my heated clothing are recharged, and I'm going to bed! I'll be sitting till 11 or 12. I have classes from 4-645, then 7-945. It's time to go to the rock, couch rock, in hopes to catch one cruising. Saturday I'll be going deep again. My wife actually listened to my process of going deep and is now all-in on me getting an E-bike for next year.

Congrats to the killers today! I saw one small buck at last light but was a slow afternoon for me.
Taking my oldest daughter to breakfast in the morning for her 6th bday so I'll be late getting out.
Good luck to the a.m. crew tomorrow!

Missed this earlier. I need to look at it from my computer. But from what I can see, looks like both are close to that 9" range. If I had to guess he would be in the low 140's 143-145 range
