I'm up, dressed and having coffee. I'll be out shortly.

    Good luck folks!

Hunting my new MD property. Wind is in my face and I got about 15 scrapes in front of me at last count.

Already had a bunch of deer pass while I was climbing up… hopefully that doesn’t affect anything … no blowers.

2 sets of eyes near my stand as I approached. Didn’t blow. I hear foot steps now

This was a barred owl too. I saw it come flying across the field then turn my way. It looked like it was heading for my bow holder. I waved my arms to get it to turn. It hovered for a second about 8' away then dove off.

Dressed and ready to head down. Still 50 minutes to legal and 10 minute walk. Kinda worried about getting in too early with calm wind and on ground.

Solo again, will give it to about 9 and may climb stand then. Will update if get signal

Ready to roll! I have everything I need in case this turns into an all day sit. Giving it until 11 or 12 no matter what. If they are still moving at that point, I’ll sit here all day. If it quiets down I will go up and get a warm lunch and be back out at 1. Last full day of vacation. Let’s get it!

I had planned to hunt this cold front hard... But meetings have been scheduled at 9am and 3pm the last 2 days and that's simply not enough time for me to get out there. Have to help the father in law at their chicken barn around noon, and then will be in the woods for the afternoon.

Good luck AM shift. Can't wait to follow along this morning.
