Haha Didn’t say it looked mine. However it does resemble one, map art is subjective.

Can't like it, good luck with the recovery.

Was it a pass through and have you checked arrow for confirmation? POI for white hair etc...?

Not sure how it happened. First time it has ever happened to me. No bumps or anything, shot fine before coming out.

looked everything over real well, nothing out of the ordinary other than having to replace the spring on my hamskea rest. Brace, A2A, draw weight were all still where I last measured. Shot a half dozen arrows to make sure nothing was up.
Could be much worse, just sucks that it had to happen at that point. Not the best angle, but this is the buck.

Still no C19 test results. My rapid test was inconclusive. Went to CVS for the PCR. Labs not back yet.

Where this affects hunting is my buddy is fine with going to WI with me tomorrow if it's just a cold (it's his land) but not if it's C19 even tho he and his whole family have already had it. Cracks me up.

Tomorrow is 3rd anniversary of the infamous Pincushion Buck. Worst case scenario I take my dog and my pandemic having ass up to my own camper in MI and wreak some havoc on some public land 2.5yos

Wear panties, a bra, a painter's mask, and full containment mask over your face when around them. Tell them that is your plan and that you will feed yourself intravenously if necessary.

Pass through, haven’t checked arrow yet. Afraid to get down. I may have heard her tip over, over the other ridge about 60 yards away.

Definitely gut but there is blood. Back in the tree until dark. Then I’ll track a little further and probably back out if I don’t see her. It was a 20 yard shot, pin was set on 25 and it was still low. I’m guessing my bow arm was dropped being at the angle it was. 587B4EF7-5EAE-469D-B93C-B9EB3925D2EE.jpeg D6C1BD84-EE66-4224-AAD8-7C1F30338E3D.jpeg 0D482AB3-006C-4180-A683-61D309A3EB49.jpeg

Thanks Brett, I appreciate it. It was a valuable lesson and I let it sink in real good on my walkout. "up at 0300, walking in wearing a t-shirt and shorts freezing, 2 1/2 miles, to just leave an hour early, the first day of November." My mind is in the right place now. I prepared everything for November except my mind. Can't wait to see my arrow bury itself behind the shoulder of a monster!

One doe walked by at 30 earlier. Now I have three feeding behind me. It’s only a matter of time before I get winded.
