    Since I’m here alone, can’t see blood and my wife would take an hour to get here I question the wisdom of being out here.

    Got out of that spot the buck busted me. I sat there about another 15 minutes the got out of there and set up in a different area about 800yds away or more. Hopefully catch a doe coming out to feed. There is a huge field on the other side of this thicket. Have about another hour left. 1635801398035.jpeg

    In my new saddle for the first time. Definitely some lessons learned but pretty easy and comfortable. 1 coyote so far. He didnt come close enough for a shot

    Spirits at a major low. Massive let down at 4:45. Had our number 1, a big 9, coming in, would have entered the food plot at 35 yards. Got almost to full draw when he was behind the last tree and my bow derailed. He didn’t spook. I went up to the house, thankful I got one of those portable bow presses this year and I am back in the tree now. Feeling pretty deflated.
