Good thing I didn't go yesterday or today, would have been hunting in some old tennis shoes. Boots in the truck. Death Wish in the brewer, alarm set 8 1/2 hours from now.

The ghost showed his ugly head once I got to the truck... The dreaded service engine light is on! No biggie take it in Monday and have them check it out!

All 3 knives in the truck and Steelers watch got a fresh battery and set down to the second. Handful of atomic fireballs as well.

Won't know if does are on the table until one presents itself. Kinda hard to do come November with 2 buck tags in pocket.

Winds will finally lay down, even though direction is not ideal being from the west. Biggest buck I've killed came in from the west with a west wind, so got that going for me. Going to be westerly in some fashion all week.

Looks like a killer spot for a cruising buck.

Sons family showed for trick or treat...boys loved the dinosaurs.
Son had a small spot light and spotted the field, well over 15 deer in it. I won't spot fields, don't like it when people spot mine. Besides I know the field is alway packed after dark.
He also saw A "huge" 10 and smaller 8 near his place on the way home.

Cool. I posted on your post before this one when I seen the pic.
I've seen it many times over the years. When bucks are looking for love, they use their nose first and eyesight next.
    Open timber can be killer!

My father would be proud of you for the fire balls. We would be having a tough fishing day and he would throw me "a lucky fireball".

I can't believe November is knocking on the door. We wait so long and then, BAM, it is here. Not sure I'll be in the stand this week until Friday down in the Ozarks.

I never could find my broad head today. That was my last good 125 gn black hornet.

Hah, less than 7 hours later I already have a small buck in that same spit. Fresh spilt blood seems not to bother him any.
