Lone doe ran through about 40 yards out. She’s in the field now doing a whole lot of looking behind her

Back at that ground setup like the other night. Same as someone posted before me the farmer here has his cows out also. If the deer skirt the fence row to come to the field I might have a chance. Service here is terrible.

No hunting for me. Projected wind of 10 mph is 2x that with gusts up to 25.

The good news is that most of the leaves should be gone soon.

Son called, I sent him to the gully stand... I'm hoping he gets a nice buck , if not I'll get first hand observations...win-win.

Spike and a little doe came through. Winds are dying down nicely. Hoping for some good movement in the next hour and a half

All set up and waiting on some deer. My daughter is hunting, I'm just a spectator.

    I was
I was hunting my cousin's farm 10 years ago and he warned me of a white bull. If I saw it, he said shoot it...but first, get up a tree. It was a neighbor's bull. Tried to slaughter it, but broke free when attempting to load it. Had been loose for a month. I wanted to shoot that with my bow so bad. The farmer hired a helicopter pilot to locate it, but never did. The bull did tremendous amount of damage to property and crops. Finally shot by a neighbor. Bedding up against a house on a cold November day.
