    Found some blood. No bubbles. Doesn’t smell like anything. Where it starts it stops. Looked through the grass, walked the creek, walked the cleared paths. No blood. Guessing shoulder shot. Hoping he’s still alive

    You're guessing? If you didnt see where the shot hit, and you didn't look last night, and you're not calling in a dog, and you think you made a good shot...should you have taken the shot?

    Sorry man, I don't know you from Adam, but get your **** together and give 100%...on the shot and recovery.

    It was a shot I’m comfortable with. There are plenty of variables that may have occurred. If he brought that front leg back before the shot connected then there is good possibility it hit that shoulder. With the little blood that’s available there’s not much more you can do than bring in a dog. I searched all morning.
