    Good luck if you are out! Earlier today, Got back from a family vacation with my side of the family. I was home long enough to unload the car, eat a quick lunch. Headed to the MIL’s to mow her lawn. I really hope that all the work I have been doing and will continue doing in the coming months after the FIl passed, results in good karma for me when I ge my four day mini rut vacation starting Veterans Day.

    Alright, I’m up in a tree now. What a ride. I found him bedded down in there, about a hundred yards from where I was glassing from. I had good wind and he was only periodically looking my way. I covered about 80 yards and was half concealed by some mares tail. All I had to do was get on my knees if he stood up. And gave me an angle. Well, I didn’t know it, but there was a doe in there too…. She saw me and blew out of there and across the road. He followed her out.

    just had a doe and two fawns run through here

    Couple doe might be more coming or a buck. Pretty thick with the leaves in here but it’s helping to keep me dry.
