    Good luck all! Keep on putting them down! I've been lurking but not posting much this year.
    Decided to push my vacation back a week this year. I have taken the first 2 weeks of November off for 10 yrs. The last few yrs I see considerably more bucks the 2nd week so I'm taking the 2nd 2 weeks this year. Will be out tomorrow morning and afternoon.

    Stashed my stuff deep. God I love that spot! Climbed a few trees to open up a few more shooting lanes. Took a lot longer than I thought it would. I Just sat down on a log near a swamp now with 40 minutes of shooting light left. Good luck pm shift

    I am apparently more passionate about hunting deer than her.

    Not going to tell her that if she was only in the mood 2 weeks/year I'd spend 6 out of 12 months of the year planning on how to bag her, too.

    I'm as ready as I'll ever be. 4 wheeler and the truck packed up. 5 arrows with new broadheads in the quiver.

    Had to go buy a new battery for my watch. Cannot for the life of me find the knife I had made in memory of my Uncle. I just freaking had it Oct. 2nd. Kinda bummed about that.

    See what tomorrow brings.

    Damn rare to have windows open this time of year in Northern Minnesota
    Damn good woman you are OND:cool:

    Well another year gone backless on the 29th.
    But..., what a great sit it was!!!
    I seen deer from the very minute I got in my stand untill 45minutes before dark( then nothing).
    I'm guessing there were 15_18 deer in range and another 10 or so I couldn't have shot.
    5 bucks, none big but 2 different 2 year old 8's came by me multiple times really showing off to all the does. Sat over a mini brassica plot and the does could hardly step out for a nibble anda buck would come n chase m off.
    Unreal weather here. Mid 50's,calm n full sun. Even the tree frogs were croaking:jaw:.
    Check the wind in the a.m. and hopefully get in a stand.

    Up snd heading to the stand in Pa, heavy rain most of the day yesterday and through the night, nothing now so hopefully they are on their feet! 55 out this morning…. Need it to be about 20 degrees cooler but that’s coming later in the week!
